This system extracts target components by adsorption into fibers coated with the liquid phase in the sample headspace. After installation in the injection port, the fiber thermally desorbs into the gas chromatograph sample injector. The ease of extraction and concentration makes this method applicable for a wide range of environmental, food, and aromatic analyses.
